Clean up

Keeping the outside of your computer clean is just as important as keeping your computer free of viruses and adware.  Keep vents and openings free of dirt, dust and hair to keep your computer cool.  A small vacuum can be found at any office supply store. 

Do not spray liquid cleaner directly on your keyboard, monitor or computer case.  Instead spay a cloth and wipe the components.  Use a computer air can with care.  Follow the directions on the can and avoid using a large amount.  Finally, keep drinks or liquid away from your components.  Accidents do happen!
